Jennifer Byrne is conjoint Professor of Molecular Oncology at the University of Sydney, and Director of Biobanking with New South Wales Health Pathology, Australia.
Jennifer undertook her PhD at the University of Queensland and was a postdoctoral fellow in Strasbourg, France. She returned to Sydney to continue her career in laboratory-based cancer research and human tissue biobanking. Jennifer now leads the PRIMeR (Publication and Research Integrity in Medical Research) group at the University of Sydney and the New South Wales Health Statewide Biobank, where she undertakes research and advocacy for transformed research publication standards and error correction capacity.
